For the love of money is an annual classy empowerment brunch focused on mental health, networking, and community building between women. An event we hold for us as women and by ourselves at Butter & Brown Bistro in Forest Park! Our Live DJ, was no other than DJ Dai Dreamz! She ensured to keep the vibes right and promote unity through her set, all while being fashionable and bold in business casual.
Our speaker Myronda Green focused on covering entrepreneurship, work-life balance, and physical/mental connection. Ms. Green reminded us of what we came to do with ourselves in twenty twenty-three, not to compare ourselves to what we see but instead to our day-to-day progress. “Blowing the candle out” refers to letting go of what no longer serves you, and trusting in yourself and your actions. We need to blow out the candle to get your vision that is on the shelf that you forgot about. Ms. Green talks about blowing out the candles and using what's on the shelf because that's the only way to your personal success. She also reminded us that money is not evil, we made it that way. We don’t live for the money, we transform lives because of it. Don't cheapen yourself by competing, and assess everything you possess and do daily and what value it holds. Don’t just exist, watch what you speak and what’s spoken over you. You are breaking everything spoken over you. Feel that you are worthy by not compromising. Know that you are worthy, and have character and integrity. Those are some of the simple keys to The Love of Money as a woman. Huge thanks to Picasso De Conscience for coming out and serving everyone at the brunch. Ensure you all stream his music. For the love of money was a good time with powerful people and information.
